KIDS PARK was the former home of the Old Scout Cabin which was a popluar hang out during the 70's. Kids Park is located at 303 McMillan Avenue. Built entirely by volunteers, this park is a wonderland for children with towers for climbing and exploring, swings, slides and small area for toddlers to play. The park also has one tennis court, pavilion (which is rented out), and several picnic tables located throughout the park and restrooms. Open 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
SPLASH PAD is located at the Kids Park on the corner of McMillan Avenue and 4th Street. The children really enjoy playing in the water. Open 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.

REX COURTYARD is located on Hoyle Avenue in downtown Bay Minette. This park got it name from the Old Rex Theater that was once located in the very same spot. The courtyard is a beautiful setting for weddings and receptions. It is also a beautiful place just to sit and relax and watch the traffic go by.
BLACKBURN PARK is located on the corner of Hoyle Avenue and Railroad Street. It is a beautiful place for weddings, receptions, picnic and reunions. The park has a water fountain in front of the gazebo, picnic tables and restrooms.
HALLIDAY PARK located on McMeans Avenue next to all the baseball fields. There is a small playground equipment for children five (5) and under, swings and a large pavilion (which is rented out). The restrooms are located at the concession stand in the ball park. Halliday Park is also home to the Bay Minette Youth Baseball here in Bay Minette for all of our young people. We have T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Little League, Minor League and Babe Ruth.
SKATEBOARD PARK is located off McMeans Avenue next to Halliday Park across from the Bay Minette Post Office. This is a unsupervised facility, skateboard at your own risk.
Rules and Regulations for Skateboarding
*Use of safety equipment such as helmets, knee & elbow pads and proper shoes are required.
*No skateboarding against traffic on the ramps or pipes.
*Do not proceed down ramp until clear of other skaters.
*No Profanity, alcohol or unruly behavior.
*Open from 7 a.m - 11 p.m.
*No Pets

CITY OF BAY MINETTE MUNICIPAL POOL is located at 1300 Bradley Avenue. The new pool was built in 2007 replacing the old facility that sit on 12 acreas of land which includes six (6) tennis courts. The pool has something for all ages. There is the diving area, a 90 foot slide, small slide at the big pool. There is also a children pool for eleven (11) years old and younger. It feature a palm tree that shoots out water, mushroom with water running off and two slides at the oppsite end of the children pool which is three and half (3 1/2) feet deep. There is also one basketball court and coming soon is the Universal Playground for all children. It will be located in the corner next to the basketball court. The pool also has a concession stand, nice restrooms with showers and lockers for your valueables. The concession stands has sandwiches, ice cream, chips, candy, drinks, water and pizzas. Daily fees are $10.00 per person, children two (2) and under are free. Pool Membership are available. Private parties are available. ULMER PARK is located off Hwy 138 West in Douglasville. Coming from Church's Chicken, you will take a left off Hwy 138 West onto Shedrick Hardy Parkway. The park is located behind the old Douglasville/Bay Minette Middle School. The park has a pavilion, playground equipment, swings, baseball field, basketball court and tennis court. Open 7 a.m til sunset.
BROWNWOOD PARK is located in downtown Bay Minette off Hoyle Avenue. Coming from the Bay Minette Police Department, you will go down Hoyle Avenue over the railroad track and take a left onto Newport Parkway. The park has a small playground equipment, swing, basketball court and baseball field. Open 7 a.m til sunset.
