Schools in Bay Minette, part of the Baldwin County School System, are SACS accredited and offer a wealth of extracurricular activities and educational opportunities. Our schools are equipped with eMINTS and AMSTI classrooms, participate in the Alabama Reading Initiative and offer 21st Century Community Learning Centers for afterschool and summer programming. Our schools are part of the Baldwin County School’s Systems Digital Renaissance, which provides MacAir Notebooks for each student in third through twelfth grades. Younger students in Kindergarten through second grades are provided iPads.

The North Baldwin Coalition for Excellence in Education foundation works with all the schools to provide additional resources and enrichment opportunities for students and faculty. In addition, the foundation sponsors more than a dozen summer camps for children ranging from engineering to art.

Faulkner State Community College is located within the city limits and offers more than 100 programs of study, as well as top-notch athletics. Huntingdon College is located here, offering an Adult Education Completion Program. Within an hour’s drive to Mobile or Pensacola are multiple four-year universities and colleges including the University of South Alabama.
